Un appartement ultra-avantageux et paisible au deuxième étage, une partie d'un édifice ancien dans le quartier exclusif de San Samuele - un quartier tranquille et débordant de culture avec des galeries et des magasins d'antiquités, bien en retrait du vacarme mais proche de Campo Santo Stefano, avec ses cafés invitants en plein air et le Musée des Arts Modernes de Palazzo Grassi.
A quelques pas de l'illustre « Palazzo Mocenigo » sur le Canal Grande - le refuge vénitien du poète britannique Lord Byron (1788-1824), romantique et érudit, « fou, méchant et dangereux à connaitre » et près de la « Casa Veronese » - la demeure du peintre exceptionnel du XVIème siècle de la Renaissance italienne, Paolo Veronese (le créateur des « Noces de Cana » et du « Repas chez Levi » qui sont aujourd'hui exposés à l'Académie des Beaux Arts juste en face du Pont de l'Accademia situé à proximité).
Ca' Grassi 1 est tranquille, lumineux, aéré et frais, complètement aménagé dans des couleurs délicieuses.
Il offre la connexion internet Wifi et, en terme de logement, il se compose d'un grand séjour/salle à manger décoré avec goût, une cuisine bien équipée (vous pourrez faire un saut au supermarché/magasin de spécialités gastronomiques et vin local pour vous procurer les ingrédients nécessaires pour créer votre plat préféré de retour à la « maison » ), deux chambres confortables (une grande, l'autre plus compacte mais toutes deux avec lits matrimoniaux) et deux salles de bain : l'une avec baignoire et l'autre avec douche.
Laissez-vous tenter par les cafés dans les alentours et les restaurants et lorsque vous serez prêts à vous risquer et explorer ou bien revisiter les innombrables séductions de la ville, vous trouverez deux arrêts de vaporetto à quelques minutes ainsi que un « Traghetto » qui, durant les horaires de service (veuillez contrôler avant d'effectuer le voyage) transporte les passagers en gondole sur le Canal Grande - entre Calle Del Tragheto (près de Sant 'Angelo) et San Toma dans le quartier de San Polo.

Would highly recommend getting private water taxi pick up on arrival. Location was a big off beaten path but plenty of space, comfortable beds and having AC was crucial! Lucca even went and brought a new Moka for coffee when we told him one in apt was broken. Good choice for Venice but be prepared to walk to everything! 10-15 minute to St marks square, 35 to Jewish Ghetto, 10 to Realto bridge.

This is the second time we have used Views on Venice and again they did not disappoint! The team is incredible! So helpful from the moment we booked… our flight was cancelled on the day but they rearranged the water taxi, arranged a late checkin and took all stress away from us - honestly Annalisa and Marta I can’t thank you enough! But little things like buying us some milk and breakfast were so thoughtful especially when we arrived almost 8 hours later than expected. The apartment is wonderful, really large, good aircon and for us we found the beds to be actually really comfortable (not something I often say in Italy!) it’s also in the most perfect position, just near lots of lovely cafes, there is a little shop right by the apartment and a larger one slightly further away. The Vaporetto stop is again only a couple of minutes walk away…. But despite being in such a great place it was very very quiet and peaceful. In short would highly recommend!

1. We could not find a way to put the light on before descending the very steep stairs from the apartment. It was OK going up, but not coming down. 2. It would be useful to have a small shelf in the shower to place soap and shampoo instead of usingplus

Being British we missed a teapot to brew tea, but we managed. 4. A few hooks by the door would be useful to hang outdoor coats instead of using the backs of chairs.

We all liked the quiet, convenient location, close to a vaporetto stop. There is an excellent grocery store at the top of the street and the admirable Bacareto restaurant is just round the corner. Comfortable beds.

Some hanging facilities in the smaller bedroom would help. Also, there is nowhere in the shower room to put the soap/shampoo when you're showering - a racka dish needs installing, as in normal household/hotel bathrooms.

My only very small suggestion would have been to have stronger water pressure in the shower. Some of my family did not find the beds comfortable but I thought there were great. I appreciated Irene meeting us to orient us to the area and the apartment, and the gal who ensured that we were all set with our water taxi on the day of our departure. This is a beautiful, clean and well maintained apartment in a quiet neighborhood yet still within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, grocery store close by as well. Checking in was easy and handled very professionally. We were met by a representative who explained everything very clearly and answered all our questions. The apartment was very large, kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms roomy, bedrooms comfy. 10 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. Two vaporetto stops close by for easy access to beautiful Venezia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
