Freshly refurbished for your comfort and enjoyment and right beside the charming coral-coloured church of San Giovanni Grisostomo, the sleeps 12 Ca’ Dei Musicanti (House of the Musicians) comprises 3 elegant apartments (one per floor) in a centrally placed Venetian palazzetto with its very own front door.
In a flourishing area once known for its silk trade, moments to the house of legendary explorer Marco Polo, the Teatro Malibran and the Fondaco Dei Tedeschi with its fabulous rooftop terrace, each air-conditioned apartment offers a stylish base for 4 (or up to 12 when booked together) and are perfect for a group of friends or family who’d like to be close but have their own space.
Showcasing a harmonious blend of whitewashed beams, wooden floors and a palette of co-ordinated colours resulting in a relaxed and easy-going vibe, the fully air-conditioned** Ca’ Dei Musicanti apartments offer en suite bathrooms throughout along with Wi-Fi and a washing machine and comprise:
Private palazzetto entrance with communal stairs (shared with its 2 sister apartments) leading up to:

Entrance with stairs leading up into:
A pretty, vaulted and beamed main sitting / dining room in red and white candy stripes with a selection of wall prints, plenty of comfy seating, a dining table seating 4, and a well-equipped kitchenette at the far end
2 attractive double bedrooms in matching red and white candy stripes, both with double beds and en suite tiled bathrooms with shower
* Are you part of a larger group who’d like to stay close to each other but in separate apartments? We offer 2 other units in this charming Venetian palazzetto (little palace): Ca Dei Musicanti 1 (on the 1st Floor), Ca Dei Musicanti 2 (on the 2nd Floor), and Ca Dei Musicanti 3 (on the 3rd Floor)
OUR COMMENT
A quietly elegant and cosy city-base for 4 in a vibrant part of Venice with all amenties and attractions very close to hand.
Splendidly situated at the meeting point of 3 Venetian sestieri (districts) – Castello, Cannaregio and San Marco – a quick sidestep off one of the city’s main arteries linking the Strada Nova/Sant’ Apostoli to San Bartolomeo/Rialto and within walking distance of all the iconic sights and attractions of St. Mark’s Square (via numerous hidden and not-so-hidden routes!) along with a host of Venetian gems, including the dainty jewel-box church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and the house of Marco Polo (the latter situated just moments from your door).
Close to the mesmerising views on offer from the enormous rooftop terrace of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi luxury department store and from the Rialto Bridge (which crosses the Grand Canal to the Rialto food markets of San Polo), and to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants including the old favourites Osteria Al Portego and the semi-hidden and solidly traditional Osteria Il Milion.
Within a short stroll of the vaporetto (water bus) stop at Rialto for exploring the city, the ‘traghetto’ gondola ferries crossing the Grand Canal at Santa Sofia and the Riva Del Carbon, and to 2 well-stocked supermarkets (a Coop and a Despar) also found along the bustling Riva Del Carbon.
For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.
**Please note that the operation of air-conditioning and heating are subject to municipality regulation. In general, heating is available from mid-October to mid-April, while air-conditioning is available from mid-April to mid-October. Please contact us for further information.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in perfekter Lage und ist nett eingerichtet. Wir waren 2 Personen und das war ok, für 4 Personen würde ich es nicht empfehlen. Die Wohnküche ist doch eher klein aber für Frühstück ausreichend.

Die Sessel am Esstisch sind nicht gut. Im Bad fehlt ein Handtuchhalter neben dem Waschbecken und eine Ablagemöglichkeit. Aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten, im Allgemeinen ist die Wohnung wirklich OK.

Thoroughly enjoyed this property! Communication from the manager were excellent, and all questions were answered before and during our stay. The property manager met us at the water taxi landing closest to the apartment, and assisted us with luggage vedi di più

The property manager met us at the water taxi landing closest to the apartment, and assisted us with luggage and entry into the home. Communications were great, as well as assistance in arranging for transportation to and from the train station. We utilized the appliances as well, which all looked new. The air conditioners, dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly. Enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen as the local coop/supermarket is a short 5 minute walk. Local restaurants, tourist sites, shops and transportation are all close. Would definitely stay there again!

This was a perfect place. Well-located but super quiet at night. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was charming and spacious. We were able to cook easily in the kitchen and there are great little places nearby for coffee
