Matured like a fine wine to be sipped and savoured by its guests and ravishingly renovated in late 2019 to maintain (and exceed!) the high standards expected during your stay, the charming Ca’ Belle Arti sits on the 1st floor of a little ‘casa’ in the heart of Dorsoduro beside the tranquil Campo Sant’ Agnese.
Within minutes of the Accademia Bridge/Galleries, the Palazzo Cini Gallery and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and just a few steps (via a short ‘sotoportego’) to the stunning Zattere promenade along the glittering Giudecca Canal, this evergreen apartment boasts 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, plus Wi-Fi and air-conditioning to keep you connected, comfy and cool.
Welcoming in ambience, timeless in decor and putting relaxation at the heart of the house, the ‘sleeps 4’ Ca’ Belle Arti is both cosy and stylish and comprises:
Ground floor
• A private front entrance leading directly into the apartment’s vestibule hallway with a handy laundry room equipped with a washing machine situated to the rear.
A short staircase rising up to the 1st (main) floor, where you’ll find:
• Attractively presented in co-ordinated neutral colours, a splendid open-plan main sitting room/kitchen/dining area offering plenty of space for everyone to be together and showcasing characterful wooden beams overhead, a pair of tall windows to the fore letting in plenty of light with custom-built cabinetry beneath, a series of sepia architectural wall-prints set above a squishy sofa and double sofa bed furnished with cushions galore, a compact yet fully-fitted kitchen with all the necessary appliances for easy self-catering, and a dining space with ample seating as part of the kitchen.
And just to the side of the main room:
• A bright and elegantly presented master bedroom with a tall beamed ceiling, a pair of windows facing the campo, warm wooden flooring underfoot to match that of the sitting room, a walk-in wardrobe, a comfortable double bed (which can be made into twins upon request) and an en suite bathroom with modern shower.
While tucked away peacefully to the rear of Ca’ Belle Arti sits:
• The masterfully upgraded 2nd bedroom ¬– more ‘bijou’ than the master – charmingly decked out in restful eau-de-nil and furnished with a custom-built single wardrobe to each side of its well-dressed double bed.
And completing the accommodation towards the centre of the apartment:

A much-loved apartment with a very loyal following, newly renovated and peacefully placed in one of Venice’s most select residential locales (and situated right at the foot of the sleepy little calle where, in a scene from the classic 1955 must-watch David Lean film ‘Summertime’, Katharine Hepburn and her street urchin companion laugh as they cool themselves down in the waters of the neighbourhood fountain!)
Close to the Church of the Gesuati (Santa Maria del Rosario), the Church of Santa Maria Della Salute, the Punta Della Dogana Museum of Contemporary Art and to a great choice of eating places including the well-reviewed Ristorante Agli Alboretti approaching the Accademia Bridge via the avenue of Oleander that is the Rio Tera Foscarini; the famous gelataria Da Nico; the popular and long-standing Trattoria Ai Cugnai and Corner Pub; the Osteria Al Squero and Cantinone Gia Schiavi - Al Bottegon (both perfect for spritz and ‘cicheti’); the upscale Ai Gondolieri behind the Guggenheim and the equally upscale Ristorante Riviera overlooking the Zattere; or for something simpler, Oke with its mind-boggling variety of eat-in or takeaway pizza.

Loved the apartment. So well renovated and spotlessly clean. Campo S Agnese location is ideal between 2 vaporetto stops and it’s around the corner from the Allilaguna taxi service from the airport.

We were 3 female friends traveling together, 2 of us 65+. This was the second time I rented from VOV. This rental is in a very quiet neighborhood and has bridge free access to 2 vaporetta stops, one on the Grand Canal, the other on the Canal San Grsee more
We were 3 female friends traveling together, 2 of us 65+. This was the second time I rented from VOV. This rental is in a very quiet neighborhood and has bridge free access to 2 vaporetta stops, one on the Grand Canal, the other on the Canal San Grigio.
What the photos don’t show: The private front door opens to a foyer with a washing machine, in a separate room, on the ground floor. There is one flight of stairs to the single open spaced kitchen/living room. Though we were fine for those traveling with toddlers, be aware that there is not a door at the top of the stairs. The 2 bedrooms have enough separation to each feel very private. The larger bedroom has an opened walk-in closet space and a shower stall. The slightly smaller second bedroom has an armoire and tub shower. If you are two couples traveling together, I might suggest that the couple in the larger room pay 60% to make it feel equitable for the couple in the smaller bedroom. What the pictures don’t show is the huge contribution made by the “behind the scenes“ personnel, such as Annalisa. She made every detail and some mishaps on our part seemless while we stayed at our VOV rental. Annalisa is priceless and exceeds every hotel concierge service I have experienced including members of Les Clefs d’Or (The Golden Keys). Don’t be shy to ask VOV to arrange taxis. |

We loved feeling part of the Venetian community in Dorsudoro. We enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and cafes, the kids walking to school, and locals gathering in the square in the evenings. We felt secure and very comfortable.

All our bookings with VoV for many years were to our utmost satisfaction. After stays in several others of their apartments we have decided to make "Ca' Belle Arti" our home in Venice. This was the 5th time we spent our annual Venetion holidays in the apartment: Excellent situation,- close to Vaporetto-stops,restaurants, museums- very quiet, nicely furnished, two new bathrooms (1 with large shower, the other with tub), comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a laundry with washing machine. Just a short staircase to reach the "bell-étage". "Normal" Venetion neighbours still live in the street who answer our greetings! In the evening, when the day-tourists have left, the Campo Sant'Agnese is a wonderfull location to sit for a while, watching the full moon and thinking about all the nice things one has admired during the day. We enjoy it every time!!!

This was a cozy, charming apartment with a reasonable price and good location. We stayed as a couple and it did not feel too large at all. Would also be great size for a family2 couples. The second bedroom is a bit smaller and no closet. The master is huge with a nice walk in closet and attached bathroom. Kitchen is compact, but perfectly fine for keeping leftovers and snacks and making coffee with the Nespresso. We would eat breakfast in every morning (usually grabbed pastries from Pasticceria Toletta the evening before as it seemed to always be along our walk home). We'd usually stop at nearby Campo Santa Margheritaanother nearby wine bar for a drink before dinner. Many great restaurants between the apartment and Campo Santa Margherita (Ristoteca Oniga in Campo San Barnaba was a low key local feeling fave). Although on the map some things seem far, Venice is so small it was less than 10 minutes walk to great food and bars, and less than 20 to the main sites. Plus so close to waterbus stops although we only used when leaving the island, walking is so easy and the best way to explore Venice. Private water taxi to/from airport is completely worth it. We love Dorsoduro for a more authentic feel away from tourist crowds with restaurants, wine bars and shops that are actually high quality for a good price. The apartment made for an excellent home base. And even though we were in Venice for an entire week, we were rarely there. So I really did not need to spend so much time deciding which unit to rent as I think everything through VOV would be excellent based on this experience. Will definitely recommend and book with them again.

I stayed with my parents and partner in this gorgeous apartment in Venice for 2 nights in July 2016. The apartment is beautiful. It is spacious and the layout of the apartment is clever in that the bedrooms are on either end of the flat, making the space feel larger and giving each bedroom privacy. There are two bathrooms and a great living space, kitchen and dining area. The apartment has it's own private entrance and windows that let in lots of natural light, overlooking one of Venice's cobble stone walkways. The location is fantastic. There are several beautiful restaurants along the water within a 5 minute walking distance from the flat. There is a water taxi pick up point within metres of the flat and it was very easy to walk to all of the main areas of Venice from this location within 10-15 minutes. The host who met us on arrival was very friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of tips that only Venetians would know and for that we were very thankful. This flat is a very affordable option to stay in Venice in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend!

It is for the 9th time we have booked with VoV, 3 times in Ca'Belle Arti which has much improved after the renovation works -two modern bathrooms and a comfortable "walk-in" wardrobe. The location of Ca'Belle Arti is great:near to vaporetto-stops, museums , restaurants, super-market, however quiet. The services of VoV are perfect! Otherwise we would not have booked with them so many times. Before we learned about VoV we stayed in different hotels and after the first rental of an apartment we never went back to that solution. Living in one of the VoV places helps feeling like a "temporary Venetian".

Views on Venice is the best, and we loved our stay at Ca' Belle Arti. The space is lovely, the facilities work perfectly, and the whole booking and reception process was so simple. Every time we come to Venice from now on, we'll use Views on Venice.

The informational materials left in the apartment were also very thorough and very helpful. One suggestion that my friend and I would pass along is that it would be nice if there were a couple of additional lights in the living room (such as reading lamps, especially beside the smaller couch), as it was a bit difficult to read in the late afternoonevening. And although it's certainly not unreasonable to expect visitors to purchase their own paper towels and mosquito repellent, it might have been an extra nice touch if those items had been on hand in the apartment. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. You can be sure that we will recommend Views on Venice to anyone we know who plans a tripand hopefully will have another opportunity ourselves to visit your beautiful city and try another of your apartments! We absolutely loved Ca' Belle Arti! It was the perfect location and was very clean and quiet. Although our family of five stayed only two nights, we were comfortable enough to stay longer. The pre-arrival communication was excellent, even handling a late change in our plans and accommodating us in a different apartment than originally booked. The water taxi service was a great way to start our arrival and although we had a hectic departure, they were available by phone to assist with our rental car pick up. I would recommend Views on Venice without hesitation.

J'ai loué cet appartement 4 fois (2011 2013 2015 et février 2017) qui est très bien avec cependant une remarque il faudrait dans la petite chambre mettre 2 lits séparés ( ce qui est précisé sur votre annonce) car venant avec mes petits enfants les gsee more
