Water taxis can whisk you quickly from the airport or any part of Venice to within just a few steps of Ca’ Via Della Seta’s front door. Minutes from the Rialto vaporetto (water bus) stop and even closer to the stop at Sant’Angelo for easy movement around the city, and to the ‘traghetto’ gondola ferry at ‘Garzoni’ crossing the Grand Canal to San Toma in district of San Polo. Close to some of the finest luxury boutiques, three well-stocked supermarkets (one specialising in organic foods), to a local wine shop just off Campo Santo Stefano, and to one of Venice’s most famous coffee and pastry shops - Marchini - where locals stop to chat. A 10 minute amble across the iconic Rialto Bridge to the Rialto for market-fresh food shopping, and within a short stroll of the Palazzo Grassi Museum of Modern Art and the Accademia Bridge leading over the Grand Canal to the attractions of Dorsoduro.
