A charming two bedroom apartment with a terrace and a balcony on the canal in an enchanting location overlooking one of the prettiest canals in all of Venice. Peacefully situated right next door to the Church and Convent of the Eremite and opposite one of the most historic and well-known restaurants in the city, ‘Locanda Montin’.
Completely restored to the highest of standards and in exquisite taste throughout, Ca’ Dell' Artista is on the second (top floor) facing the Rio Delle Romite (sometimes known as ‘Rio Dell’ Eremite’ or ‘Canal of the Hermits’ in English) and offers air-conditioning and internet connection'.
Its light flooded living and dining area is decorated in a very fashionable and velvety smooth ‘Venetian Green’ polished plaster finish softly echoing the rippling hues of the tranquil canal below, while the enormous living space is further emphasised by its high ceilings and magnificent exposed beams. The large windows offer dreamy canal views while the dainty front terrace is perfect for taking in the gentle comings and goings on the water and for enjoying that pre-dinner aperitivo before venturing out to one of the many excellent local restaurants.
Or cook up a storm in the modern and well-equipped open-style kitchen leading on to the large, furnished second terrace before retiring to one of the two very relaxing and peaceful bedrooms - one with comfortable and elegant twin beds plus access to the second terrace and the other a richly decorated and rather luxurious double, both with charming views over the beautifully maintained neighbouring gardens. The two bathrooms are equally stylish - one decorated in a chic ‘Tiffany’ blue with bathtub and the other in bolder shades with limestone-tiled modern shower en-suite to the master bedroom.
Less than a minute’s walk to the daily activities of a thriving neighbourhood - take a short stroll along the alleyway opposite, with its little illuminated shrine and enticing air of secrecy, before suddenly arriving onto the Fondamenta Toletta, a charming street of bookshops, bar, gelataria, ATM and the canalside tables of the small, but highly popular, ‘Enoteca Ai Artisti’. My husband and I spent a week at Ca' Dell' Artists and loved it! It is a spacious apartment with high ceilings and a nice layout for relaxing. It is quiet and on an especially picturesque canal. The colors of the Venetian plaster are beautiful. Tsee more
My husband and I spent a week at Ca' Dell' Artists and loved it! It is a spacious apartment with high ceilings and a nice layout for relaxing. It is quiet and on an especially picturesque canal. The colors of the Venetian plaster are beautiful. The balcony patio is perfect for enjoying a meal. One is only steps away from restaurants, shops, markets, and the vaporetto so it is a convenient location. We highly recommend the concierge services at Views on Venice absolutely excellent in securing porters, water taxis, and booking special outings such as the wonderful sunset cruise by Captain Marco in his bragozzo.

The beds put together as one were not of the same height. The lower bed was uncomfortable and ideally needs replacing.
The kitchen is lacking in serving and cooking utensils (spatula, larger spoons, tongs), otherwise it was fine.

The service from Views on Venice was great, including arranging transport, meet and great at the taxi point, answering of questions and even printing off tickets when required. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Definitely recommend using Views on Venice for any visits to Venice.

This was our second year staying in this apartment, we stayed here a year ago also. Great location, very happy with Views on Venice. Minor changes since last year, wifi speed has gone up from 1 mps to 6 mps, and the ground floor is now tiled. I thorsee more

We loved that the kitchen was well equipped with essentials like coffee machine , toaster and working utensils like a sharp knife! Great washing machine and rack to dry clothes. This is ever more important for longer stays of fivemore nights. When we were tired of eating out it was so easy to buy local produce and make our own dinner. The style and look of the apartment was lovely and the location simply perfect. We were in Venice for the peak summer season so there were many tourists but the apartment slowed us to escape the crowds. It was so peaceful and serene I hope to return one day soon. Thanks VoV!

The apartment was tastefully furnished and well located in a quiet area close to the Accademia bridge from which it was easy to walk to all of the main sights. We particularly enjoyed the transport to and from the airport of a water taxi organised by Views on Venice. The apartment was well equipped with excellent air conditioning. The information available in the apartment, prepared by Views on Venice, was of a high standard with good directions and photographs of nearby shops and restaurants. On our first evening I broke a tooth and was very impressed with the swift action by the team at Views on Venice who arranged for me to see a dentist as soon as I informed them next morning. We would definitely recommend Views on Venice to friends and family and hope to be back again ourselves in the not too distant future!

The Ca' dell' Artista is a large albeit cosy apartment with all the amenities necessary (including a dish washer!).

Decor is pleasing to the eye and the windows let in loads of light lay-out is ideal for two couples mattresses are firm. The flat is on a lovely quiet canal. We felt immediately comfortable and had a lovely five-day stay.
